The Rubber Hinge Covers (Pack of 3) are used on the centre and side angles of the Easy System Alloy Frame, (Full Frame & Portico XL only), Combi Steel Frame (Full Frame Only) and most Residencia Steel Frames.

Their purpose is to act as a buffer between the angle of the frame and the roof of the awning itself.

The Rubber Hinge Cover is secured into a black bung by clasping the 2 halves of the black bung over the nipple found on the underside of the hinge cover. This black bung is then tapped into the top of the centre and side angles of the frame.

NB. If you are replacing a Rubber Hinge Cover that has broken or pulled out, it is advised that you remove the black bung from the top of the angle first. This is easily achieved by placing a flat head screwdriver to the side of the black bung and gently prising it out from the angle.  (Please mind the fingers!)  Separate the 2 halves of the bung placing the nipple of the hinge cover between them.  The black bung can now be tapped back into position.
