What you are buying!
The Bradcot Tie Down Kit or commonly known as (Storm Kit), consists of 3 belt assemblies and 3 heavy duty corkscrew pegs 40cm/16" in length. Unlike most Tie Down kits, this particular system is designed to be used on the inside of the awning. Each belt assembly is attached to the centre or side angle of any frame type at the point at which the roof bracer is attached; (this is the strongest part of any frame).
The belt assembly follows the line of each front leg to the ground; here it is attached to the corkscrew peg, which has been screwed into the ground next to the spiked foot of the awning frames leg.
From the outside, the storm kit is not visible to passers by and there is no danger of you or the children tripping over it. No more will you hear the irritating sound of belt vibrating in the wind, but most importantly the Storm Kit does not come into contact with the outside of the roof, causing wear and chaffing to the waterproof PVA coating.
NB. Warning! Never use a Tie Down Kit (Storm Kit) on the outside of your awning. The awning roof is covered with a waterproof PVA coating. A belt or strap which has been placed over the top of the awning roof or front canopy poles can cause wear and chaffing and result in untold damage to your awning.
